The Whinfield Lane Lands extend to c. 35.6 acres and comprises of a series of fields located west of Whinfield Road, adjacent to the A2 Shore Road. The lands are of agricultural use and are bound by the Belfast to Larne railway line.

We note that within Draft BMAP 2015, the subject lands are located at the edge of the development limit for Greenisland Town.
